Wow, Benedict never ceases to surprise us.

Scott, thanks for the wonderful job you've done with this motly crew. I'll
miss your quick responses, your quick and wonderful sense of humor, and your
wise counsel on things Booksharian.

Good luck on your new challenges. Let us hear from you from time to time.

Alisa, you have great shoes to fill--or is it wheels to follow. You seem to
have excellent credentials, so, naturally, we'll expect great things of you.
Soon you'll dream about words like Kurzweil, Openbook and Jaws, and that
never-ending question, "does this feel good in Braille?"

As soon as you think you've begun to get it, someone on this list will
mention elipses, and a ton of emails will prove we're all insane.

But besides all that, we're pretty nice.

So welcome aboard.

Bob

Scott,

Thank you so much for the truly excellent work you've done with
Bookshare. I appreciated so very much, on the several ocasions we had
private communication, your swift, professional and nonjudgmental
responses to my various troubles.

I wish you the best and greatest things in the future.

And Alissa, welcome to the volunteer community! You've done some
incredible volunteer work with some disadvantaged communities that
interest me a great deal, particularly the Unified District of
Oakland. That entire community has always seemed one of the most
disadvantaged yet reziliant I've ever encountered. They're like the
gladiator whose motto was the fight isn't over until you've won.

I look forward to seeing how your experiences will further the goals
of Bookshare, and believe, pondering on the core skills necessary for
the sort of work you've done with large groups that you will bring
great things to the community.
Warmest Regards to you both,
Courtney
