Hi Mickey, You can keep this from happening again. This is a known bug with Kurzweil and rtf files. In the settings menu, arrow down to conversion. Hit enter. In that dialogue for both saving and converting files, disable "split long pages" in all instances. You won't end up with extra page breaks again. I just proofread Cowl, and all was well. Imagine my chagrin when I found that 20 pagebreaks had been added, apparently by Kurzweil when I closed it down. When I opened it, the 20 pagebreaks had changed to 24. I guess we need to go back and check the volumes in Word. I thought I'd let Kurzweil users know this happened, and apologize to whomever, (Carrie?) validated it. Honest, those breaks were NOT there before I closed the file.
