I agree with Roger.
Sometimes you just have to wrestle with your screen reader to make it say
something properly. Sometimes you just have to accept what it says and make
adjustments in your mind.

That is just how your screen reader is configured. Mine says "glasses smiley
face" every time an eight appears followed by a right parenthesis. I just get
used to it and hardly notice when such a thing happens, but if it is really too
distracting then it can be changed.

It is read as 4 letter m.
I would find this confusing. if it is pronounced in this fashion.
