This looks promising, but it would not be safe to assume that any books published by any of the publishers on this list are safe to scan. Well, they might not be displaced by publisher submissions, but maybe outsourcers. I picked out one of the publishers listed more or less at random. It was Hanging Loose Press. I then placed that phrase in quotation marks and searched Bookshare for it. I got forty-one results. I then picked one of those more or less at random to see who submitted it. It was Worth Trust, an outsourcer. That's not too much to worry about though, Some small presses are smaller or bigger than others. I don't know just how small you have to be to be considered a small press. And no matter how small it is there is still a possibility that an outsourcer will do it. So, look for the obscure, but before scanning still check all the lists to be sure no one else has gotten to it first. This web site should be a good resource to help one look for the obscure too. Again, if anyone knows how to search by sales rank on Amazon to get the lowest sales rank let us know. You can do a search and sort by best selling, but I don't see a way to sort the order and clicking through pages to get to the last ones on the list could use up several days if you are working with a lot of results.
