I don't always scan in two page mode anymore. I get more errors that way. I
usually do 20 pages at a time, and then OCR and check those 20, then paste
them into an rtf file, then do 20 more. My problem with two page mode is if
one page has only a few lines of text, it seems to ignore that page for some
reason. And if the spine of the book is really stiff, sometimes it cuts off
the first few letters or the last few letters of each line that are closest
to the spine.
It sounds like you've worked out a really good system that works for you,
