I had to transfer computers and my entire folder of "blindness books" vanished. Grrrrrrrr. Not sure to this day what happened everything else transferred fine, but that folder, and of course it was the stuff that was really important. Sigh. A lot of my notes from class were in that folder too, and they vanished too. Sigh. But I am building it up again, and will be offering up rescans of some of my books in the near future. Especially considering a lot of my books were scanned with Kesy 5 and when I was a lot more inexperienced at this scanning thing. But I love the new PC and it doesn't crash every eight hours, or cause Jaws to studder, freeze my scanner for minutes on end in the middle of a scan, or refuse to print, get onto the internet, download from the internet, or fry power supplies like the old one did, smile, And this one has a DVD player, but no drivers. Need to fix that, perhaps next months, splurge. smile. It is sad the people at the state Agency are still trying to figure out what to do with the computer I had. They wanted to use it for training, but it kept crashing on them. They thought it was only me, smile. Shelley L.
