Don't you wonder how that particular scano came up? F in print absolutely
does not look like an F. Cindy, anyone who casn see, is there a fancy Y
that you might think was an F? Really cute! Not so sure New Yorkers would
appreciate a change of name, though. Have fun!

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Scanno of the week

Hi All,

Having fun with a scanno that is peppered throughout a book I'm
proofreading. Every time the name of the city "New York"
appears, the OCR-ing software interpreted it as "New Fork."

I wonder if I should tell my sister-in-law, who lives in New York, that her
city has been transformed into cutlery? Grin.
