If you are scanning the whole two-page spread of the book, make sure you set "facing pages" to on. I am using Open Book 9 and scanning with a Opticbook. This is what happens when I start the scan. 1. After placing the book on the scanner bed (book is a small paperback-trade paperback) 2. I start the scan with the space bar. 3. Scanner "completes the scan" and then 4. The finish product is "page 1 is blank" 5. I know that text is on the page because my husband is telling me that it is. I have scanned pages in the "middle" of the book and still I get the same results. 6. What am I doing wrong? 7. I am using the setting that were given out this list by someone (I am not sure who) but I made a RTF file with the settings on them and also I spoke to Lori C. about the setting a few weeks back as well as with Larry L. and the settings that I got from both of them were just about the same. Please help *I am pulling out my hair in frustration* Thanks, Netta "Just because you are blind does not mean you lack vision"-Stevie Wonder
