Carrie, I'm writing to volunteer@xxxxxxxxxxxxx to try to keep you unburdened; if a message like this should go to you instead please let me know. Shannon's posting about Saving Grace by Lee Smith reminded me that I proofed a book by that title; when I checked the collection to be sure it wasn't the same one I found it isn't in the collection. It's by Grace Livingston Hill --a lovely book that those who like Christian fiction will enjoy. I enjoyed proofing it and am willing to proof any of her books; the Christian message is subtle and doesn't detract from the story and the characters are nicely drawn. I don't feel as if someone is trying to convert me--just reach those who already believe. Carry, maybe this book lost in the conversion? I don't find the file anywhere so sit was probably done back in 2008 or even 2007 Cindy Wish List (i.e., books wanted added to the collection) and books-being-scanned list available at sites below Wish List: https://wiki.benetech.org/display/BSO/Bookshare+Wish+List Books Being Scanned List: https://wiki.benetech.org/display/BSO/Books+Being+Scanned+List --- On Tue, 11/17/09, solsticesinger <solsticesinger@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > From: solsticesinger <solsticesinger@xxxxxxxxx> > Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Seeking proofreaders for two Lee Smith novels > To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx, bookshare-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Date: Tuesday, November 17, 2009, 3:04 PM > > > > > > > > Hi, all. > > I will soon be scanning > Saving Grace and On Agate > Hill by Lee Smith.
