Hi All,
As it turns out, I got in touch with the Braille transcription people. They 
took a look, and it turns out that the pictur4es are indeed music. I'm checking 
other options. Thanks to all for helping.

Does anyone know whether TechAdapt Inc. can braille music?

James, you might want to write to them and ask if no one on the list knows.

Another option is to contact a transcriber who specializes in braille 
music.  I don't know of any offhand, so you could google it and see what 
comes up.
