Hi James, Imprints are subsidiaries of publishing companies. For instance, Berkley is an imprint of Penguin. Thanks in advance for your clarification. I also have it as a Word file if anyone wants that. Cindy _____ From: Mayrie ReNae <mayrierenae@xxxxxxxxx> To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, February 28, 2012 1:43 PM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Safe publishers Hi Everyone, Here is a short list of safe publishers. You'll have to look on each publisher's web site to get a list of their imprints. Sorry about that, but they are vast. Here's a starting point though: ALL PEARSON and all imprints - Penguin, Viking, etc. People would have their hands full just doing penguin. McGraw-Hill - all imprints Houghton Mifflin Harcourt - K-12 Cengage - - all imprints We are working on updating the "safe publishers" list. And hopefully can create one with a list of imprints! Please be patient. We'll update the list, but you can work from the above for a bit, I hope. Sorry this has gotten so confusing!
