The first book I read by Pilcher was The Shell Seekers; I believe that was the correct name; it was a best seller. That has been the favorite of hers so far.

Donna,

Rosemunde Pilcher's books take place in England. She writes about romances with a twist of history mixed in. For example, "Coming Home" takes place in England/Cornwall during World War II and revolves around romances from two characters. I started reading Pilcher's books about 3 or 4 years ago and like them very much. Her son, Robin Pilcher, also is an author.

Hi all,

I have seen some of her titles on the Bookshare website and wondered about them. What kind of stuff does she write?
Thanks,
Donna
