Hi Pavi,
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I know the engineers have their hands full, so we'll have to wait and see.
Thanks again,
Mike

Hi Mike,

Carrie and I both think this is a very reasonable request and I've filed a request for the change to be made from a seven day to a 14 day checkout period with engineering. Will be sure to let you know if it is a change they are able to make at this time. I know they are cranking down on a series of important fixes, but am hoping this will make the cut in terms of priorities.

Thanks for the great suggestion!

All good things,
Pavi

I very much agree with the 14-day proof reading period. Was thinking about
that the other day in fact.

I think that's an excellent suggestion, Mike, and now, with engineering
still working on it, should be an easy time to make the change.

If one were to prioritize, if we had any choice in prioritizing, would that
fix be more important to most of you than the fixing of the Recent Books
site, or would you like to have that be updated first? Not that we have any choice, probably, but since I make a note on m calendar of when to renew my
books that bothers me less than not having the recent books added lists
current. I know there are, at least on my computer and email, reminders
calendars and notes; are they audio as well?

Cindy

Hi Pavi,
I think I have a timly suggestion. Instead of the seven day period
for proofreading, why not increase it to fourteen days. It would ease
the problem we have with the lack of reminder notices, but even with
properly timed reminder notices, we are taking more time than we used
to to proffread a book. The seven day period is for the much shorter
validating period: the fourteen days is more suitable to the new
requirement to completly read the book.
Mike

had them taken care of but discovered more errors). They are working
on it and I just checked with their schedule and the next deployment
is scheduled for the 11th. Will keep you updated on that as we get
closer to the actual date. Our apologies for the interim inconvenience
of having to keep a closer eye on your checked out books, and renewals
without the reminders.
