Hi Cindy,

Not that it is a big deal either way, as it will take longer to discuss, think about it, and make a decision, than it will to implement the change (just a matter of changing a 7 to a 14 somewhere in the code), but the big difference is that the renewal time period is aimed as a tool for the volunteers, and the new book list is why we are all here, making books available to the overall membership (the paying customer). So, talking about which we would like to see get the priority, is spinning our wheels. Having said this, I can see a 14 day time period being put in place quickly if enough volunteers want it, and the powers that be approve, as it should be a simple change.

I think that's an excellent suggestion, Mike, and now, with engineering still working on it, should be an easy time to make the change.

If one were to prioritize, if we had any choice in prioritizing, would that fix be more important to most of you than the fixing of the Recent Books site, or would you like to have that be updated first? Not that we have any choice, probably, but since I make a note on m calendar of when to renew my books that bothers me less than not having the recent books added lists current. I know there are, at least on my computer and email, reminders calendars and notes; are they audio as well?
