Hi all,
Madeleine, great post, thank you! On some lists, if you cross post
personal mail, that is email from a person to a list which is not an
announcement or an article, it's grounds for immediate removal from the
list. Not only do people deserve to feel secure and happy, <smiling<
you're also breaking copyright laws. Yep, that's right, personal email
posts are considered to be the copyrighted property of their writers.
Lots of lists don't pay much attention to this, but if you look on the
ICORS site: http://www.icors.org under list rules you'll find a nice
concise paragraph about the copyright issues surrounding personal posts.
