Yes probably an ISP issue, happens to me when I don't have a good or rather stable connection.

I'm using Thunderbird and Window-Eyes. I have Thunderbird set to sort by date in descending order, and it is sorting them correctly. Earlier today, someone responded to a message that I hadn't received, so I checked my webmail account, to see if it was in the spam folder, or if Thunderbird wasn't retrieving it for some reason, but it was not in my webmail inbox, or spam folder. That message just came through a few minutes ago, and Thunderbird placed it in the correct place in the list, based on my sort feature.
