I've been reading through both the K1000 manual and the Bookshare Proofreading
manual for volunteers with an eye to possibly doing some proofreading for
Bookshare.
I can see that with the right settings for K1000 I would be aware of, and be
able to make necessary formatting changes as described in the proofreading
manual. I can even tell where tabs and blank lines are and delete them.
The one thing I didn't see was a way to globally search for a character such as
a tab or page break or blank line and then replace that character with another;
as one would if replacing all tabs with spaces.
Is there a way to do this, or would it be acceptable to just read along in the
book and make changes as I saw them.
I just want to make sure that I understand what I would be required to do and
that I would be able to do it properly.
Thanks for patience with my questions.
