Hi Valerie and Lori,

I'm not positive about this, but here's what I think I remember
being told. Bookshare's tools take big fonts and shrink them, except where
they are headings. I think it is assumed that folks needing font
enlargement will use their adaptive software to do the enlarging. I know
that back in the dark ages, screen readers did choke on fonts larger than
about 24 or 30. That may have changed with advances in software. My
suggestion would be to try what you want to try, Valerie, and then, once the
book is included into the collection, download it and see what the tools
have done to or with it. Since you are the proofreader, I think Lori's
question/issue was addressed.

Just my thoughts.

Mayrie

I am the validator/proofreader. He came to me from Shelley in larger fonts,
and I just wondered if there was at least the four pt. variance if it could
still be kept at a larger size.

I had not stopped to think about screen readers, can anyone address that
issue?

Thanks!
Valerie
