I have to second what Ann said, even though most of the users appear to be
blind or have visual impairments, our daughters (one whom has since passed
away) have benefited greatly from BookShare because their physical
disability prevents them from handling traditional text. Making our
situation more unique is the fact that my husband is a quadriplegic, and so
having access to BookShare has been a real answer to prayer. It is why I
feel so strongly about giving back when I have time and ability to
volunteer.
