Hi all,

I contacted Mary Anne off-list early this afternoon, and she sent me a .jpg of the page which I'm downloading right now. If I can't figure out what's wrong with the page from that, I'll yell for additional help! smile.

Hi everybody. I've just started working on books and have a problem
with one which I am scanning.

I'm scanning the book "How the Irish Saved Civilization" by Thomas Cahill.
I've hit upon a page which appears to have some eschewed text near the
bottom of the page, no matter how many times I scan it. The text is all
there, but about 4 or 5 lines are all mixed up.

Could I send someone with vision a picture of this page for some help in
straightening it out? I am using Omnipage, so I can export the page in a
lot of formats. I just don't know which would be best, I.e. JPG, TIF, etc? This page is peculiar in that just about all of them have scanned fine. But
I think there are a few here and there which may need sighted help.

Thanks a lot.
