I prefer to put it as the first page also. Since it tells what the book is about, it is logical to put it first.

Hi all,
I am validating a book where the scanner has decided to include the book jacket information. They have placed this information on the first page of the book. He/she has noted that this information came from the back of the book.
Is it a matter of preference where the book jacket information is placed?
