Word. I forgot to mention that. Actually, she's on this list now but wasn't
until recently, which is why I wrote the message, so I suppose she can tell
you more from here than I could. It's Nicki. Anyway, sorry I forgot to
mention that. Take care.

Is she trying to spell check in OpenBook, or is she trying to spell check
it in a word processor like Word? There's a way to mark the text in Word so
that the spell checker can check it.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Question about OpenBook files for a friend

Hi, all. I have a friend who has OpenBook, and she's having a problem with a

file that I know has been discussed on this list before, but since I don't
have OpenBook, I didn't pay much attention and now don't remember what was
said that could be done to fix her problem. This is regarding a Bookshare
submission, by the way. <smile> Anyway, she's having problem spell checking
the file that's been saved as an RTF. She gets the error, "the spell check
is complete; text marked with do not check for spelling or grammar has been
ignored." Like I said, I know this has come up before but don't know what to

tell her. Thanks for your help. I'll forward any responses to her. Thanks.
Take care.
