Monica,
Another way is to use the GoTo feature to go to a specific page. Type
Ctrl-G, enter a page number, hit Enter, then hit Escape.
BTW, Word 2000 in a Nutshell, which is in the collection, has info on the
Browse Buttons which is what you are using when pressing Ctrl-PgUp and
Ctrl-PgDn. I'm not sure if it explains it well enough, but it does refer to
this problem.

When you finish working on find and replace, here's what you need to do.
1. Go back to the "find" dialog in Word.
2. In the find field, type "^m" and press the enter key.
You should now be able to use the CTRL+page up and down keys to move back
and forth.

Hi. I've got a question about using Word and haven't located an
answer in the help files. It's slowing down my ability to validate
books, and this is a nagging problem that I don't know how to
solve. I hope someone here has an idea to share. (smile)
As you know, when you load a document into Word, pressing control
page up or down lets you move from page to page. Then, when you use
find and replace, it changes the behavior of control page up and down
to finding the previous or next results in the find dialog. What I
want to know is does anyone know how I can get the keystrokes back to
switching between pages again? Right now I close Word and start it
again, and I think there has to be an easier way. It's nice that
Word lets us move around in search results, but when I'm finished
with a replacement, I want to go back to being able to move from page
to page. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me with this.
