Thank you! I don't know why I didn't get your original mail either, but I
didn't. I got this one though, and the problem is now fixed.

  Kathy,

I just checked my other account and it showed me sending you a direct reply
on Saturday morning. The email address looks the same as the one I see on this
message, so I'm not sure why you didn't get it. Anyway, I'm pasting the text
of my original reply below so you have it.

  Kathy,
I am sorry I missed that one. Thought I caught everything.

So here's the scoop. That first small paragraph on page 16 about the
insecticides is actually part of a paragraph further down that starts with
the line about the brush and before you get to the bracketed note about a
photo. The full paragraph on page 16 should read as follows:

For your dog's coat you will need a brush with hard bristles but preferably
natural ones. A flea comb is another essential item, and get an insecticide
against fleas as well. Those insecticides that come in spray cans are handy,
as are alcohol-based liquids that can be rubbed on. You will also need
tweezers for removing ticks and other parasites.

Regarding the last line on page 15 about the muzzles, that text is as the
book reads. The first lines on page 16 should read as follows.

"veterinarian, be sure to get one that can be adjusted for size. A muzzle
that will fit a puppy will clearly not fit a grown dog. "

There is a diagram caption right above it that got muddled in with the
first line of text, so please edit the text as written above.

  Thanks for checking on it.
  Robin

I am almost finished proofing The German Shepherd Dog
Everything About Purchase, Care, Nutrition, Diseases, and Training

by Helmut Antesberger (translated from the German by Rita and Robert
Kimber). All I lack in order to recommend approval are a few words that are
missing either from the bottom of page 15 or the top of page 16.I wrote to the
email address given in the contact information for the submitter Thursday or
Friday, but haven't heard anything. I wonder if someone would look it up for
me, if it's available on the Amazon site. I tried to look it up on Google
books, and didn't get any results. Here is what it looks like:

If you decide to buy a muzzle for use on trips or possibly on visits to the

     16

essential item, and get an insecticide against fleas as well. Those
insecticides that come in spray cans are handy,

    Thank you.
