Hi Patti,
The book's rating may change or may not. The bookshare site has a tool which
assigns a proposed rating to the book. I believe that happens after you upload
the book as valid, that is, after step 1 of the 2-part
validation process. When a submitter uploads a book, the rating they assign is
the one you see if you look on the step one download page. When you finish
validating a book and decide to accept it, you upload the
book and then you see a form. One of the items on that form is the text quality
rating. and at that point, the rating you see is the one assigned by the
bookshare automated tool. It may be the same or different from the
one assigned by the submitter. You as the validator may change the proposed
rating, based on your knowledge of the book's quality.
