I think the question meant how to prevent someone else from scanning and submitting a book that one is in the middle of scanning. The answer is to let Cindy know so that she can add it to the books being scanned list. You can do that by either emailing her directly or posting the information on this list. Now, that won't stop people who do not check the books being scanned list, but if they know what's good for them they will because it is a blade that cuts both ways. That is, you could just as well make your submission before they are through scanning it.

MessageIf you are asking after you submit a book after scanning, someone else will have to proof read it. You can put a hold for and that person's name just before the title in the correct edit field and the person can get it. ----- Original Message ----- From: Andy B.

Hi. Do we have to wait until we are aproved to scan books to have them added to the processing list? I am scanning a book right now but don't want it taken by someone else. How would we deal with this sort of thing?
