Boy, the following question strangles the English language, but I can't think of a clearer way to say it.
Is there a way we can distinguish between nimac books, which adults can't read, and publisher quality books which are not nimak books, meaning that adults can read them, without going to the download page of the book itself?

Hi Shannon,A book being publisher quality doesn't mean people can't download it. Unfortunately NIMAC books (which are flagged publisher quality) come with lots of strings attached, one of which is that the books can only be given to K-12 students. Here's a reprint of my message about pub. quality vs. NIMAC.Publisher Quality vs. NIMAC Sourced Hi Everyone,It seems as though there is a bit of a misconception in regards to Publisher Quality and NIMAC sourced books. I can see where this has come from since we just had a discussion about the limited availability of NIMAC titles.I guess the first place to start is to say that one does not necessarily mean the other. Yes, NIMAC sourced books will be flagged with Publisher Quality, but just because a book is Publisher Quality does *not* mean that it is NIMAC sourced. On Friday we added some of the first NIMAC sourced books. We also added some general publisher sourced books with Publisher Quality. So, while the title Exploring Literature is NIMAC sourced, titles like A Caribbean Mystery by Agatha Cristie is not and is available to everyone with Publisher Quality. For anyone interested, we added 12 NIMAC titles and 20 other publisher quality books.Sincerely, Jake Jake Brownell jakeb@xxxxxxxxxxxx----- Original Message ----- From: "solsticesinger" <solsticesinger25@xxxxxxxxx>To: <bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, February 17, 2008 8:36 AM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Publisher Quality books addedWhy can certain people not download the publisher quality books?
