I agree with Allison that a project of this magnitude would have seemed
overwhelming to me when I started.

However, some of this could be added to Jake's site (sorry, I don't have the
URL right now). And maybe have a checklist or frequently asked questions
sheet that would point new validators to the various tools you mention.

In that way, new validators could use the checklist as a cookbook to follow
while validating their first books, and have places to go to solve problems
as they are encountered.

I don't think you need anyone's permission to add things to Jake's site, do
you? I've never added anything.
