Hi Reggie,

Thanks for the clarification. My next question is, can you use doc or rtf
files in the word processor? I would like to be able to fix scannos.

Thanks,
Lisa

Lisa:
If you choose in Word .doc, in the word processor it will recognize it,
especially out of Word 2003. I would think it would recognize .rtf, but it
does not seem to. Lots of switching and manipulating the files, but for
reading in Braille and if one cannot afford an Apex or Braille Sense in a
newer model, mPower works. As I said, if I ever have to go to totally
proofing in Word, I either have a very patient mentor or I definitely begin
scanning, and right now I do not have the room to scan so I would just have
to stop volunteering.

Oh yes, you do know when you enter on the book in mPower word processor that
you will next see something about review options. Just enter once again and
hang on. Some books take a long time to open. What you need to see is
"This is a text document." Now you can begin reading with the thumb keys.
Hope I have helped some. Anything else you need to know, just ask, and I
will try to help.
Reggie

How do you get the bn to recognizability doc files? Mine seems to recognise
txt files. However, I have not tried doc files in the word processor

Thanks
Lisa
