Gary, is there a list of these somewhere. Where did you find them? Thanks.

I'm sorry, I should have been more specific. That works for K1000. backslash
n for newline backslash t for tab, backslash p for page.

About your backslash n instruction. Is this in word or some other program

You can look for backslash n followed lowercase letters. There should be a way
to look for the newline followed by any lowercase letter without specifying
which, but I've not mastered regular expression usage yet.

A note on K-1000. If it is useful.
I have been using that voice setting in the software to read all punctuation.
It sure has been useful. Quite a bore to read that way, but it sure finds all
the details that I need when I am seeking absolute accuracy.
I am not doing any proofreading currently, but I am saying I do it in my scans.
I don’t have a clue how to have K-1000 find a paragraph marker, however.
Can that be done in K-1000?
I have done it in Word. Although now I am using Word 2016 and I am so lost.

Hey Larry, I had to chuckle at this, not at your expense, I assure you! Just
that it’s an easy thing to forget to check that case sensitivity box.
A little bonus for quality improvement I’ve noticed when I do this split
paragraph check is that sometimes it shows up junk characters, (which are
sometimes isolated letters), especially at the top or bottom of a page.
It really doesn’t take much time in K1000 since F3 repeats the search without
having to enter the search string again. I know Word has a key, or key combo,
for that as well, control-pagedown I think it is.

Evan, I stand humbled and corrected, smile. It works beautifully when you set
match case to checked.

The way I do it is to do a search for the paragraph symbol followed by all of
the lower case letters. I do it in K1000 after I’ve finished scanning, but you
can do it in Word as well.

Hi Booksharian Friends,
Could someone who is blind or visually impaired please tell me what is the
easiest way to find hard paragraph returns in the middle of a paragraph? Must I
turn punctuation on in JAWS to do this or is there another way? Thanks in
advance?
