Sometimes it's a chapter and I don't mind that. Short paragraphsmean nothing to me. But, they're in the book so I do them. The worst is pictures of covers which come out very badly.

It's not core content, so I don't number it or do much to it. If it comes out cleanly, I keep it. Since the publisher often uses a different font to showcase the book sample, these pages sometimes come out messy. If they do, I nix them because they're not core content. There are more patient people who take the time to optimize them separately and clean them up. Patience isn't one of my strong suits.
