As someone who has not commented on this matter until now let me say that Regina took a very long time to proof one of my submissions too and I was wondering what was taking so long, but I didn't really worry about it. It was being continually renewed, so I knew that it had not been forgotten and I knew that if at any time it was released or expired and was not renewed again I could always ask that the hold be removed and someone else could take over. In the particular case that started this thread a simple question was asked about what the delay was and it was answered. I can suppose that the answer also applied to my own submission that took so long and, by the way, was finished and entered the collection. The explanation was accepted and the matter should have been finished at that point. It was not even necessary for there to be an apology with the explanation. The explanation was sufficient. Once that was accomplished there was no need for anyone else to do what I am doing right now, comment on the matter. It is finished.
