[bksvol-discuss] Placing a book order

Hi all.
I'm getting ready to place a book order and want to make sure that no
one is scanning the following:
The Darkest Pleasure by Gena Showalter
Me of Little Faith by Louis Black
Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
Fantom Prey by John Sandford
BTW, Host by Stephenie Meyer is on the wish list but it is already in
the collection. Breaking Dawn is the fourth book in a series for
which BookShare already has the first three. This one isn't my cup of
tea, but I thought there might be someone who would want to
validate/read it.
Also, if anyone has a burning desire to validate something that isn't
on any list to be scanned, let me know and I'll see if I can find it.
I'm still planning to scan:
Kushiel's Mercy by Jacqueline Carey
I have it in my possession and will start scanning it tonight. It's
her usual 700 page saga, so the initial clean-up may take a little
while.
Other books I plan to scan include:
Firestorm by Nevada Barr
The Macy Dobbs series by Jacqueline Winspear
There are five books in this series so far and I have them and have
even scanned the first one, but there are some clean-up issues I
haven't had the time to fix yet. It's a great series though for those
of us who like mysteries. It's set in London in the 1930's and the
lead character is a woman who was a nurse during WWI. Phenominal
descriptions!
Okay, I've been out of the BookShare loop for a while because I've
been promoted at work and am busier than usual. I'm hoping to get
back into scanning regularly at least on the weekends. I kind of miss
it!
