Amy, just post a list of titles you plan to scan and those of us on the list who are paying attention will either tell you if we're scanning one already or will make sure that we don't duplicate your effort. This seems to work for the most part. Every once in a while we end up with duplicated scans, but not very often. I have a stack of books in my "to be scanned" department none of which are in the collection and all of which have been previously listed in this volunteer discussion freelist. Since we don't have a wish list anymore how do I ensure that they are not already in process of being scanned by someone else? The in process list does not include books that have not been submitted yet. As I don't like submitted badly scanned books I "validate" the books as I go along so that the copy I submit I usually classify as "excellent". Is there a way to ensure that someone else is not also working on the same books? Amy
