Hi Amber, Just a voice of reason here, and from a deranged perfectionist. We aren't perfect, can't be. If we were, then we wouldn't be human. This is why Carrie asked if folks want their books gone over with a fine-toothed comb. Those who don't want that don't have to have it, and will probably lighten Carrie's work load by not asking for it. Always good points to all sides of a discussion. I do the best I can and am always learning, but I get a knot in my stomach when I feel pressured to get perfect scans. I want excellent quality books, but I do feel pressure to do better and better. I might think about submitting books from now on, especially if there is more and more pressure to submit "perfect" scans. I love bookshare and I love all the work we do, but I can't create perfect scans, and feel badly when I can not do that for you all.
