Hi Marilyn,
I'm obviously not Amber, but I wanted to let you know that you can always renew a book that you have out for validation, if it takes you longer than a week to get through. And you can renew the book more than once. The renew link for the book is on your step 2 page. And yes, she can put a hold on the book for you. Just since I'm answering questions that weren't directed at me, may as well answer both.

Devorah wants to do the martha Ballard one so do you want to do the Delia Parr one? If so, I will hold it for you. I have the book scanned and it is in .rtf, but it might need to be validated. To be honest, I have not yet done a spell-check on it so I don't know what's going on. I just know it has some hand-written letters that didn't scan at all. I will definitely hold onto it for you... It can definitely wait!
