Hi Em, Thanks for this. I knew someone would know the answer. I remember that a few months ago somebody else was having this problem and setting the zoom to 75 or 100 fixed the problem. Carmella, I suggest you give that a try. The zoom setting is in the view menu. I bet you'll be pleasantly surprised. Thanks again, Em! If you zoom out really far in word, you can end up with multiple pages on the screen at once. When that happens and you use the arrow keys to navigate between pages, the down key takes you to the page directly below the one you are on, even if there are other pages on that row such as the next page in the book. I'd make sure the zoom was set at something like 75-100% or even page width just to be sure there is only one page on the screen at a time. This has been happening to me lately when I am reading/writing. I go through the document page 20 and then when I use the arrow key to proceed to the next page it is page 23, subsequently skipping several pages. I then have to arrow back up, landing on page 20 and then use my reading keys to get to the page that I am looking for. This only happens in word 2007 and not when I use word 2010. Not sure why but it is what it is. I am not sure how to fix it and this is in regular paper size 8.5X11. I share in your frustrations. What I think it is...microsoft wants me to upgrade. I have sent in an error report and that is what I am getting back...upgrade--in so many words. Netta "Just because you are blind does not mean you lack vision"-Stevie Wonder
