My apologies. I shouldn’t have opened my mouth on this one because I have
Windows, not Mac. I didn’t mean to cause confusion.

What? I hit the shift and enter. I just tried the control and enter and nothing
happened; I also tried the apple and enter and that created a section break;
and when I tried Option and enter nothing happened.

  In Word, with Windows, you hit control with enter to make hard page breaks.
Shift with enter opens a new window.

  So I hit to shift and enter at the same time? Just want to make sure I
understand you correctly that's all. Sounds easy enough

    HTH. Very quick and easy. I do it all the time. Remember to hit return
before you do that so that there's a line space before the page break

      Are there any mac users on here who know how to insert page breaks in
books? I have a book that I am proofing, and i have no idea how to insert some
of the missing page breaks. If no one knows, and there are people on here who
would like to proof "The Dark Eyes War," by David B. Coe, is more than welcome
to it.
