Question regarding page breaks. I know there's a difference between hard and soft page breaks, and I know how my screenreader reports the difference. However, in the book I'm currently proofing, I've come across something strange. When I read past this one particular page break, I hear a dong. Normally, I would hear page break for a hard page break. A soft break would simply say page 7 and then on the next line say page 8. So, I placed my cursor a few lines above this page break and did a search for ^m to find the next page break. The donging page break is the next occurrence of ^m that was encountered. So, can I safely assume that this is a hard page break?
