I have been having via voice errors with openbook that crash it. Switching to
"no speech" as soon as I open a file helps now, but later it will probably stop
working. That error has happened with two different computers and two versions
of openbook. I'm glad the program is more stable for you.

I have both openbook 6 andK1000 on my computer and have no issues.

I uninstalled my old openbook version 5.0 and reinstalled and it's now
working. As soon as I get my ark files converted to rtf, I'm going to uninstall
again--unless someone really wants an ark file from step one page looked at.
