I haven't used a Mac in years.  The last time I used one, Outspoken was the
screen reader available, and I hated it.

Hmmm, maybe I should go poke at a Mac, and see what happens.

Laura, 

Actually Mac's are not all that bad. They have a pretty darn solid screen
reader built into the OS now. Just remember, Windows  is a take off on the
Mac interface.

It doesn't hurt to try, in my opinion. Maybe no one with 5 year' experience
will apply. And Macs are easy to learn to use--very user friendly, and we
use the same microsoft Word and Excel. There are a lot of other programs
that I don't use but are probably similar to, if not the same as, ones for
othr PCs.  Go for it. You know the old saying, Nothing ventured, nothing
gained. smile
