Hi,
Yes, Open Book uses the Omnipage 12 engine. I think it has more engines as
well, but Omnipage is the most recognized as far as I know.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Open Book scanning engines

 Dear Bookshare Friends,

In previous discussions you told me Kurzweil has 2 scanning engines, like
fine reader and omni page, or some programs like that.

Does Open Book 7.0 have scanning software built in? If so, does anyone know
what it is called? Also, does Open book work with Mac computers?

Thanks.

Always with love,

Lissi
