I know this is getting ridiculous, not to mention boring, but I'm dealng with this "Running Alone" book again, and it's still an invalid RTF file. The Bookshare program did r\ead it again, saying it's invalid, even after the trick wih the space character. With all the poking around one must do with a screen reader to find the file under the "Choose File" or Browse, I still have to ask the following: <1> When choosing or browsing to the file, do I "Open" it first, or just select it? In other words, does the Accept button need to see an opened file, or just a highlighted (selected) file? <2> Does each word need to be separated by an underscore (_) character? Will saces do as well? Feel free to write me off-list, and many thanks to all for offering tips and tricks. My offer to just send the file to someone, so you can at least benefit from my minor edits, still stands; but I get the feeling that's somehow a bad precedent. -- "i dont see why these idoits are always after us. its not our falts its stupid bush's."
