Hi Jess. Are you saying that the first edition is required, but the only version you can find is the second edition? If so, I suspect that would be fine. If I were you, though, I would ask the professor about it before assuming that it is ok, as there may be some reason why they preferred the earlier edition.
In any case, I'd ask the professor. As a student, I often used recorded versions of earlier editions of books, and used sighted readers for chapters, charts, concepts etc. that were not in the first edition.

Hi, The book for my college class is not available in an accessible format from the publisher. However, RFBD (Recording for The Blind and Dyslexic) has it in an accessible format, but it's a second addition. Has anyone here ever read a first and a second addition of a book? If so, were there any differences in the content of the book? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
