Sorry, Pratik, if I was unclear, but I did write "the square root of minus one", not "minus the square root of one". Citing my propensity to be imaginative, negative the square root of one wouldn't make any sense anyway since that is a real number.

Is it the negative square root of 1 or square root of negative 1?
Mathematically, and imaginatively, each leads to a different result.

way or another.  But I might be inclined to say that I am either an e or
