Cindy,

Of course I do not know your problem, but your phone lines, extensions, and
any devices that you use on your phone line have to have filters on the
cables and/or extension lines. This is so you can still use your phone
while on the computer. And of course, your cable line would have to be
disconnected, I mean your cable service for the computer. I hope this makes
sense, and helps some. You also have to have a DSL box and the right kind
of modem. We got that from Verizoon.

GOOD LUCK!

It doesn't seem to matter much. We've been trying to
get DSL instead of cable, because we have Time Warner
since they took over Adelphia and the service is
terrible. My neighbors on both sides and up the street
have DSL and Verizon keeps telling me we can't get it
because of some difference in our line. We even
re-activated a different line but still no luck so
far. I keep calling and the nice service people
sending accelerated requests, or something like that.
One gave me the nanme of a spervisor to call if I
don't hears something in a couple of weeks.

Good luck, Nancy, with your attempt.

Cindy
