Josh,

In Ms Word:
1. Open the tools menu
2. Press o to open the options dialog box.
3. Use control tab to switch between the available tabs until you reach spelling and grammar.
4. Tab to the custom dictionaries button and activate it.
5. You should land in a list box which will display the name of the dictionary, which will probably be custom.
6. Tab to and activate the modify button.
7. You will now be in a dialog box which displays a list of the words added to the dictionary.
8. Tab until you reach the list view displaying the words.
9. Use your arrow keys or first letter navigation to locate the word you want to remove.
10. Tab once to reach the delete button, and activate it.
11. This should remove the word from the dictionary. Activate any ok buttons in the dialog boxes until you've exited out of the options dialog box.

Let me know if you need any clarification,
Scott

If you are in an application and you add a word to the dictionary by mistake how
can it be deleted?

Thanks.

Josh
