Certainly baking on a rainy day is different than baking when it is sunny
out, particularly in the amount of water and rising time when making bread.
It is supposed to rain here which means it rains on my newly planted chard,
beans and beet seeds.
I have to dog proof the garden this year so things are beginning a little
slowly I am going to grow a couple kinds of lettuce and some herbs in
those long plastic window boxes. That way I can put them on the deck rail
away from dogs and out of reach of the deer and racoons and whatever else
eats our gardens.

Maybe if we like to scan books on rainy days, we ought to read them instead? I have a friend who swears that if you scan a book when it's rainy out, you will get more errors. She said she has tested this several times, and that it has something to do with the electrical charge. That was a new one on me, but I'll have to put it to the test sometime.
