Thanks for the correction.

There are so many unigender names in every language
that it's hard to tell who's what. smile And in the
middle school where I worked where kids don't always
mature physically and girls wear short hair and boys
wear long hair, it's hard to tell. Working in the ESL
program, when I summonsed kids for testing, often I
expected a girl when I got a boy, and vice versa, and
sometimes when I saw one or another in the counseling
office or who came with a note I couldn't tell the
gender. The latter made for some embarrassing
mistakes.

My daughter and son-in-law have named their baby girl
Ryen--with an "e" insead of an "a," hoping that would
tell people that she's a girl and not a boy--but
apparently, from what she tells me people tell her,
there are now many girls with the name Ryan with an a.

Anyway, thanks for setting us straight, Munawar. Now
my mental image of you is correct.
