Hi, Lisa,

Sorry, I just assumed FS would have updated the hardcopy braille manual.
There is information in the Help file, which you can access with th-chord. If
you received a CD with your Braille Lite, the manual on the CD should be more
up-to-date. I downloaded the braille file with the manual onto my Braille Lite,
and it contains a section called Compact Flash Commands. The file is called
blmmanlbrf.

To copy one file at a time onto your CF card, go to the file and press Dot
8, together with the letter c. To copy several files at once, go into the
folder from which you want to copy the files, and press the gh sign. Mark the
files you wish to copy, using either the spacebar or y-chord. I like y-chord,
because it then moves you to the next file in the list. After marking the
files, hold down Dot 8 and press c, just as you do for copying a single file.

There are other commands you will need to know, so I suggest trying the
blmman.brf file. You can then use the info in the Help file, when you need to
refresh your memory.

HTH,
Paula

Is there a basic command that I need to use the flash port? Because, my
problem is, the manual says absolutely nothing about it. I've looked cover to
cover. so, if you can give me an idea of how to begin, I'll be able to figure
it out.

    Hi, Lisa,

As far as transfering files between your Braille Lite and your CF card,
you don't need any special program. The software is built into your Braille
Lite. The manual should have a good explanation. If you have any questions,
after reading that section, I, or someone else on this list, should be able to
help. I'm afraid that if I try to type out the whole explanation, I will
probably make a lot less sense than the user manual (smile).

Best wishes with your new Millennium,
    Paula

This is for all you braille lite Millennium users. I just got one the
other day and am trying to figure out how to use the flash memory card port. I
wanted to store all of my books onto a flash card to make it a bit easier. Is
there a specific program that I need to use? Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

      Lisa
